Chilled taster sessions

FRIDAY EVENING HANDBUILDING WORKSHOPS:
Join us for one or more of our relaxed handbuilding workshops that take place on Friday evenings, from 6-8pm. Each session will focus on a unique theme and handbuilding technique. The workshops are structured to follow our beginners programme with everything you would learn with membership. (excluding throwing because we like to do that in a smaller class) The cost is £45, which covers tuition, clay and decorative slips. When your work has had it’s first firing, we will dip it in transparent glaze so it is all finished on collection unless you choose to do the additional glazing workshop.

Plates and Platters using decals and Nerikomi marbling. October 30th
Unwind in this mindful and calm workshop. You will use the slab method to make up to three small plates or one larger platter. Materials: White Clay, coloured clays/slips.

Throwing Workshops are done for this year but we will begin again in 2027

We do plan these throughout the year but as MWCS’s classes run all year and not term times only, we have to fit them in to our existing programme. Please fill in our contact form and ask to be added to our list of interested parties and you will be the first to know when we are holding a workshop.
